I named it "Tomoshibi" (a small flame) — a tiny, round bud vase. Beneath its bluish-grey glaze, a warm amber glow flickers through, like the light of a lamp. A small, curled handle carries the mark of the hand that made it, quietly bringing out the beauty of a single stem, a short branch, or seasonal flowers.
